Mount Modan

Mount Modan is the highest and largest mountain within the Bellegast mountain ranges, situated in the far northern reaches of the island of Bellegast. Treacherous weather and avalanches make climbing perilous.

Mount Modan is home to the three dwarven clans that form the Dwarven Conclave, a powerful alliance that governs dwarven society.

Geological SignificANCE

Composed of ancient stone and crystalline veins, Mount Modan is considered one of the oldest formations in Aetherion.

Its subterranean depths are rumored to hold Blackrock, a rare and powerful metal tied to Dominion lore.

Strategic Importance

Control of Mount Modan means access to Blackrock, which could tip the balance of power between The Covenant and The Dominion.

Numerous skirmishes and covert mining operations have occurred in its shadow, though few return from its depths

Ancient texts claim Mount Modan was shaped by Lazael, the God of Earth and Valor, during the First Age.
