Suitable for: Mage, Healer
Spun from the flax fields of humble lands, Linen cloth is the first step into arcane attire. Though mundane in origin, its light fibers make it ideal for apprentices, offering breathability and just enough structure to channel the faintest whispers of magic.
Soft yet resilient, Cotton armor is favored by journeyman spellcasters. Its fibers hold enchantments more reliably than linen, allowing simple wards and minor mana flows to settle within the weave without unraveling.
Harvested from rare silkworms and refined through delicate craft, Silk cloth is prized for its elegance and arcane compatibility. It carries enchantments with grace, enhancing spell precision and allowing magic to flow with minimal resistance.
Forged in heat and shadow, Cindercloth is woven from ash-treated fibers drawn from lands touched by flame and ruin. It hums with a volatile edge, offering resilience against destructive forces and hinting at the greater arcane mastery required to wield its unstable power.
Woven from strands of raw arcane energy harvested at leyline fractures, Manathread cloth hums faintly with dormant power. Its fibers respond to the wearer’s will, subtly reinforcing spellcasting and shielding against unstable etheric surges—an essential armor for those who walk the thin line between discipline and chaos.
Forged in sanctified looms where magic is not gathered but mastered, Arcaneweave transcends mere fabric. Each thread is bound with refined etheric resonance, amplifying the wearer’s control and bending magic itself into harmony. To don it is to become an extension of the arcane—fluid, precise, and nearly untouchable.
Suitable for: Rogue, Ranger
In the earliest days of survival, travelers stitched together scraps of wool and hide simply to endure the wilds. Soft Leather is not meant to withstand battle - but for many, it is the first shield between life and the unforgiving elements of Aranel.
As settlements grew and trade routes formed, artisans began refining their craft. Light Leather became the standard of scouts and wanderers - armor that could move as swiftly as its wearer, offering protection without stealing freedom.
Forged from sturdier hides and cured with time-honored methods, Medium Leather marks the transition from survival to readiness. Hunters, guards, and seasoned adventurers alike favor it - gear for those who expect danger, but refuse to be slowed by it.
In harsher lands where beasts strike without warning, only the strongest leathers endure. Thick, hardened, and shaped through fire and oil, Heavy Leather is trusted by warriors who walk the line between agility and resilience.
Wool-Leather Armor is the humble gear of caravans and initiates, crafted from layered desert wool and treated hide to endure Aetherion's harshest climates. Light, silent, and easily repaired, it has carried countless travelers across the Frosty Tundras and through the perils of the Northern frontier.
Whispers speak of hunters who followed the black-winged flocks into shadowed skies - and returned changed. Raven Leather is crafted from rare hides and bound with the essence of dark feathers, granting unnatural lightness and endurance. Those who wear it move like a fleeting shadow… and are seldom caught.
Suitable for: Tank, Heavy Melee
Among the earliest metals shaped by mortal hands, copper marked the dawn of true craftsmanship. Though softer than iron, it was a symbol of progress - worn by fledgling warriors and frontier militias as they stepped beyond leather and into the age of forged protection. In its warm glow lies the beginning of war-forged destiny.
With the mastery of iron came a turning point in the history of Aetherion. Stronger and more enduring than copper, it armed the first true armies and stood at the heart of countless conflicts. Iron Armor is not merely protection - it is the mark of those prepared to face war, tempered in both forge and battle.
Suitable for: Support Tank / Paladin
Bronze is among the oldest forged metals known across Aetherion, predating even the earliest ironworks of the Dwarves. Though seemingly inferior in raw strength, it carries a deeper resonance with the ether, making it uniquely suited for those who fight not only to endure - but to protect and restore.
Suitable for: Support Tank, Paladin
Silver is not merely a metal - it is a conduit of divine intent, revered across Aranel as the purest medium through which the will of the gods may flow. Unlike bronze, which balances strength and compassion, silver represents clarity of purpose - a warrior who has transcended doubt and become an instrument of protection.
Suitable for: Tank, Melee Warrior
Adamantite is one of the highest-tier sets of armor available in Aetherion. As a top-tier defensive and offensive option, it provides superior protection alongside solid stat bonuses, making it an essential late-game goal for players exploring the dangerous outer regions of the map.
Mithril is the highest-tier set of armor available in Aetherion. It provides exceptional base physical and projectile resistance, rivaling adamantite, though it typically requires heavy grinding to craft and drops from Dungeons.

Crude and hastily assembled, Wood Armor is often the first protection afforded to those with little coin or standing. Bound from rough-cut planks and bark-lined panels, it offers minimal defense but serves a greater purpose—marking the beginning of one’s journey, where survival matters more than skill, and every scar tells a story yet to unfold.
