Social

Aetherion is better with company. Team up in a party for a dungeon run, found a guild with your friends, and send letters, items and gold by Pigeon Post. Type /social in game to open the Social window with your party and your guild.

Parties

A party holds up to six adventurers. Invite someone with /party invite <player>. They have a minute to type /party accept before the invite runs out.

Shared experience

Kill experience is shared with party members who are close by, so nobody falls behind while the tank holds the line.

Shared quest kills

Kills for "defeat" quests count for every nearby party member who has the quest.

Party frames

Your party's names, levels and health show on screen, so a healer always knows who needs help.

Party chat

Use /p <message> to talk to your party only.

If the leader is offline for a few minutes, leadership passes to another member. Members who stay offline for half an hour leave the party automatically.

Careful in PvP zones: in contested areas your party members can still hurt you, so watch your swings.

Party frames show each member's level and health.

Guilds

Guilds are founded at the Guild Registrar in the Central Nexus for 100 gold. Choose a name (3 to 24 characters) and a short tag (2 to 5 characters). The tag appears before your name in chat, for example [SNCT] Timothy. A guild can grow to 100 members.

Every guild has five ranks. The Guild Master can rename them, but each one starts with these rights:

Rank Can
Guild Master Everything, including editing the ranks
Officer Guild chat, officer chat, invite, remove, promote, demote, set the message of the day
Veteran Guild chat, invite
Member Guild chat
Initiate Guild chat
Tip: /guild help lists every guild action, and /guild motd <message> sets the message your members see when they log in.

Chat

Anything you type without a command goes to everyone on the server. For a smaller audience, use one of these:

CommandWho hears it
/p <message>Your party
/g <message>Your guild
/o <message>Your guild's officers, if your rank allows it
/w <player> "message"One player. /tell and /whisper also work. Put the message in double quotes.
/r "message"The last person who whispered you

Staff show a pink [GM] before their name. Please keep chat friendly and follow the Server Rules.

Pigeon Post

The Pigeon Post carries letters, items and gold to any player, even when they're offline. Mail is read and sent in person at a Pigeon Post mailbox in town: walk up and press F. There is no mail command.

Letters

Write to any player with a subject and a message. Reply to a letter or return it to the sender with one click.

Attachments

Drag up to 12 items into a letter. Only items at full durability can be sent, so repair first.

Gold

Send gold from your vault straight to theirs. This is how you pay another player.

Cash on Delivery

Set a price on the items you send. The buyer pays when they take them, and the gold is mailed back to you.

Rule Details
Postage 2 gold per letter, plus 1 gold for each attachment, paid from your vault
Cash on Delivery If nobody pays within 3 days, the items come back to you
How long letters last 30 days. You get a warning when you log in if a letter with items is about to expire
Inbox size Up to 50 letters

Rewards also arrive by pigeon. Quest and achievement rewards that don't fit in your bags, and shards taken out at the Great Forge, wait for you in your inbox.

Fun fact: pigeons are not always polite. Every now and then one leaves a little something in your letter.
Your letters wait for you at any Pigeon Post mailbox.
