The Dark Dwarves 

Terra'Gar Clan

Once a proud Dwarven clan of Bellegast, the Terra’Gar fell to corruption during the Clan Wars, embracing forbidden forging techniques and the power of Blackrock. After their defeat and exile by the Dwarven Conclave, they pledged allegiance to the Dominion, becoming its brutal enforcers. Known for their obsidian-forged weapons, volcanic armor, and ruthless war tactics, the Dark Dwarves now dwell the underground city of Terralode located in the northern ice plains of Illdoridri, serving the will of Asubah, God of Justice and Darkness.

The Dark Dwarves are a corrupted subrace of dwarves, twisted by their reckless misuse of Blackrock. Prolonged exposure to this rare and volatile mineral altered their physiology and psyche, driving them into madness and obsession. 

Physical Traits

Skin: Gray to sooty black, resembling the stone of the deep earth. 

Eyes: Fiery amber, glowing with an unnatural intensity. 

Hair: Often dark, though some individuals bear striking red hair. 

Attire: While some don armor, most wear drab garments in muted tones that blend with rock and shadow. 

Origins & Exile 

Once part of the greater dwarven kin, the Terra’Gar Clan was cast out after their experiments with Blackrock violated sacred laws. Legends claim the rest of dwarvenkind abandoned them during their darkest hour—a betrayal that forged an enduring grudge. 

Culture & Psychology

Their society thrives on bitterness and vengeance, viewing other dwarves as traitors. This resentment fuels their allegiance to the Dominion, where they wield corrupted ether and Blackrock-forged weapons to exact retribution.

The Obsidian Vanguards

The Obsidian Vanguards are the Dominion’s answer to holy warriors. Once noble defenders of Dwarven halls, they were twisted by the doctrine of Asubah and the corruptive power of Blackrock. Clad in heavy blackened plate armor etched with runes of shadow, they wield massive two-handed axes infused with darkness. Their presence on the battlefield is a harbinger of despair—where light falters, they thrive.
