Necromages

The Necromages are a dark and secretive order within The Dominion, feared for their mastery of death magic and shadow manipulation. Born during the Dark Ages, they embraced Asubah’s doctrine of absolute control, wielding forbidden arts to bend life and death to their will. From their stronghold in Netherion, near the Sanctum of Darkness, they summon undead legions and weave etheric corruption into weapons of war. Though indispensable to The Dominion’s power, their influence is shrouded in fear and mistrust—even among their allies.

HIERARCHY 

• High Shadowkeeper – Supreme leader and voice of Asubah’s will. 
• Dark Sentinels – Elite enforcers wielding polearms infused with shadow magic. 
• Sanctum Wardens – Guardians of the Sanctum of Darkness. 
• Initiates – Acolytes undergoing rites of corruption.

Appearance

• Pale, almost ashen skin from prolonged exposure to etheric corruption. 
• Veins often glow faintly with violet or obsidian hues, a side effect of shadow magic coursing through their bodies. 
• Eyes: Irises darkened to shades of black, violet, or crimson, sometimes with a faint luminescent ring. 
• Hair: Typically black, silver, or stark white—either naturally or bleached during initiation rites. 
• Clothing: Ritual robes layered with runic patterns, obsidian talismans, and soul-bound relics. Armor is rare, but when worn, it’s infused with shadowsteel and etched with corruption sigils.
