Ethereal Walkers are mortals chosen by the Six Ancient Gods and touched by the Ethereal Plane itself. Having stood within the Ethereal Halls, they are no longer bound by the natural limits of race, faction, or element.
Unlike ordinary denizens of Aetherion - who can only attune to one or two elemental forces - an Ethereal Walker can wield and harmonize all six elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Nature, and Darkness. This ability comes not from mastery alone, but from direct divine imprint, marking them as living conduits of ether.
Summoned from fractured futures where the world has already fallen to the Void, Ethereal Walkers exist outside the normal flow of time. Multiple Walkers may walk the world simultaneously - echoes from converging timelines - each tasked with altering fate and preventing the collapse of the Sanctums.
In the eyes of the gods, an Ethereal Walker is neither champion nor servant, but a fail safe: a being capable of reshaping destiny where even divinity failed.
