Housing is a core feature of The Last Sanctum, designed to capture the creativity and magic reminiscent of Hytale. Every player will have access to their own plot of land, offering complete freedom to build, customize, and express themselves. As players progress, they can unlock and switch between different biomes or themes, ensuring their housing evolves alongside their journey.

Players can choose between two distinct housing experiences:

Personal Plot
A fully instanced space where players can terraform, decorate, and design without restrictions. This option emphasizes individual creativity and ownership.
Neighborhood Hub (Shared Social Space)
A communal environment where multiple players share access to amenities and social features. Neighborhoods encourage collaboration, trade, and community-driven events.

Neighborhood Hub

Each hub serves as a vibrant social center, offering a variety of shared facilities:

Central Plaza: A lively gathering space with portals leading to each player’s home.
Market Area: Player-run stalls and NPC vendors for trading goods and resources.
Crafting Stations: Shared facilities for blacksmithing, cooking, tailoring, and other professions.
Event Grounds: Open areas for seasonal festivals, competitions, and guild meetups.
Community Bulletin Board: A posting space for notices, shop advertisements, and event invitations.

Portal Housing

Within the neighborhood hub, each player’s home is represented by a door or portal. Entering a portal transports visitors to that player’s instanced plot. Inside, players enjoy full creative freedom, including:

Building structures, farms, gardens, or themed environments.
Placing interactive furniture, pets, or mini-games.
Customizing access permissions (friends-only, guild-only, or public).

This system ensures a seamless blend of social interaction in shared hubs and personal creativity in private plots, giving players the best of both worlds.
