Bug fixes and QOL updates following the release of Update 6.
Following the release of Update 6 and the deployment of Community Update 10, we have been actively monitoring feedback, addressing reported issues, and implementing a range of fixes and quality of life improvements across Aetherion. In addition to these refinements, we have also introduced several new features and enhancements to further improve the overall player experience.
At the Weapons Bench, players can now craft functional firearms, including the Blunderbuss and Flintlock Pistol, both available under the Ranged Weapons category. These additions have been designed to align with Aetherion’s lore, reflecting the ingenuity and craftsmanship of the Dwarven clans. Renowned for their mastery of gunpowder and exceptional weapon forging techniques, the Dwarves have developed these firearms as practical and reliable tools of war, blending innovative engineering with centuries of traditional craftsmanship.
One feature that is currently absent from Hytale is traditional rod-based fishing. While we hope to see fishing evolve into a prominent and fully featured profession within the core game in the future, we have been thoroughly impressed by Cozy Tales - Fishing by Hexvane. This addition introduces a variety of engaging mechanics, including customizable fishing bobbers that can improve catch rates, as well as functional fishing boats for exploring waterways. Players can also showcase their catches in decorative aquariums, adding both depth and immersion to the fishing experience while we await official support for the feature.
As part of our next update, we will be introducing the newly redesigned Trials interface, which required additional refinement following the release of Update 6. Much of this work was driven by changes to Hytale’s prefab system, where larger prefabs are now stored and managed through a new framework. These updates have allowed us to further improve the stability, performance, and usability of the Trials experience.
Most notably, we are targeting the release of the new PvE XP Farm instances in the upcoming update. These arenas will allow players to team up with friends and battle through multiple waves of enemies across a variety of unique environments, providing an engaging way to earn experience, test builds, and take on increasingly challenging encounters.
The following is a list of all features and bug fixes deployed as part of this update:

Lastely... Please keep in mind that all of these new systems and updates are still undergoing active refinement. As Hytale continues to evolve, we will likewise update and improve our plugins, logic, and internal frameworks to stay aligned with the game’s development.
This means that certain gear stats, item information, recipes, and crafting mechanics may continue to change over time. While the current implementation is stable, nothing is fully final - your feedback will help shape the polished versions of these systems as they mature.
As always, if you have suggestions, ideas, or comments, please share them with us on our official Discord server. Your input helps shape the future of Aetherion.
Happy exploring! 🌿✨
