THE ALCHEMISTS TOWER

Nestled in a fractured mountain corridor on the shore close to Wyrmrest, lies the remains of a once-towering structure known as The Alchemists Tower - a colossal spire that dominated the region before its mysterious fall.

APPEARANCE & CONDITION 

• The tower’s base remains intact, but its upper levels collapsed inward 
• Crystals, shattered apparatus, and scorched stone litter the ground 
• Faint green and blue etheric light still pulses from cracks in the foundation 
• Snow seemingly avoids landing on certain parts of the ruin

WHAT WAS IT? 

Legends claim the tower belonged to: 

• A joint arcane order before the Covenant and Dominion formed 
• Or a group of renegade scholars who attempted to study Wyrmrest directly 
• Or an ancient alchemist whose experiments pierced into the fabric of Aetherion

THE INCIDENT 

One night, long before either faction built their northern towns, the tower exploded silently, sending a shockwave of light that illuminated the night sky. When locals came to investigate, the tower was in ruins - and every alchemist inside had vanished. 

The cause was never discovered.

• Greywyn scholars believe the tower was researching Wyrmrest’s unique ether field 
• Skornhold warlords believe the tower uncovered forbidden knowledge 
• Explorers insist that strange whispers echo through the ruins on stormy nights 
• Both factions maintain scouts near the tower, though neither claims it outright 

Its ruins now stand as a cold reminder of the dangers lurking in the north — and the price of probing too deeply into forbidden mysteries.
